A
close study of the situation reveals the fact that a major part of difficulties
in the
Cold heading bolts and similar items themselves, the less the care
is applied in building such a machine, the greater are the difficulties. Far decades
we have been striving to over come these ‘growing pains’ of the cold

Double Stroke Cold Headers are horizontal machines with crank drive, the Movement
of which is transmitted to the main slide and control shaft. The slide is triple
guided. The
design of the heading slide is particularly mobile and carries two heading punches,
one for conning and the other for finishing. Conning
and finishing punches, as well as dies can be accurately adjusted at easily accessible
point. Nearly all essential adjusting arrangements can be manually operated.
The machine is equipped
with vertical wire straightening rolls designed for the processing of long bolts.
The
wire intake, the cut-off and feed mechanisms have been considerably simplified. |
